Saturday Afternoon on the Farm

Holland's most perfect family came to visit us today. Like something out of a Bijenkorf Catalogue, not only are they a picture-book couple, their children could be the country's sweetest little mascots, with manners to match their inherited good looks.

After they left, our little one wouldn't stop talking about his new little (girl)friend... "Guusje, no!", "Guusjie, happy!"

An expat couple also came to visit - a German colleague of Tobi's (from Siemens), and his girlfriend, originally from China. Needless to say, our afternoon was very cosmopolitan, with languages switching between German, English, and Dutch. Is there any better way to spend a Saturday afternoon?
