For starters, we visited the beautiful city of Limburg, and its Christmas market (on the way down from The Netherlands - an easy stop for those traveling Germany's arterial A3 highway).
Then we visited friends in Munich (and admired the cosmopolitain city's Christmas charm... afterall, it's less than 2 hours from Nuremberg!)...
And I've even managed to find some time for Christmas shopping in Erlangen's new "Arcaden" shopping center.
Last, but not least, I've kept busy by being a full-time parent (4 days down, 1 to go until "Papa" arrives). Although there hasn't been much "me" time, we're really enjoying the 1-on-1 time together, and of course, Lukas has plenty of attention from Oma & Opa (his paternal grandparents, who live just a few minutes from our place here in Germany). Despite being busy, I did find some time to update Lukas' blog this morning (which was way overdue).
I'll write more about our latest adventures just as soon as I can, but for now, we're off to pay Oma & Opa another visit!
