Yesterday we had a most
scrumptious experience at the "
Heuvelhof Tuinen" in 'S-
Heer Abstkerke. After an hour-long guided tour of the gardens, we were encouraged to explore the
labyrinth and various nooks and crannies on our own, before sitting down to a
tantalizing mix of home-baked breads, home-made jellies and
tapendes (from garden-grown ingredients), a garden-fresh salad, fresh-pressed apple juice, and an intense, delicious blend of coffee. The combination of flavors and good company made it a
truly memorable experience.
