We ended 2008 with friends in Florida, eating German food, and talking about our life in Holland. At the drop of the ball we took a group photo with Anne's camera, and toasted to a healthy and prosperous 2009. Is there a better way to start off the year?The last few days of 2008 were incredible for us. We spent them teetering between sun-drenched, palm fringed, swimming pools; Central Florida favorites, including Sea World and the Kennedy Space Center; and finally, overindulgiing at the incredible Carribean-themed restaurant Bahama Breeze.
Not a minute of sunshine has been taken for granted, and we're oh-so grateful for time with family and friends. We have just a couple days left here in paradise, and we will most certainly spend it wisely.
I do hope to find some time to post photos soon, but until then, let me wrap up by wishing you a wonderful start to this grand new year, and all of the adventures that it entails.
