We surprised Mom yesterday in Orlando! It was so much fun. Mom's sister, Camille, picked us up from the airport, and we made a plan to surprise Mom. At the time, she was out visiting employers (for the University - she finds jobs for students), and my Aunt Camille called her, asking if she had time to meet for a coffee. In the meantime, Camille and I decided to grab a bite to eat from the Red Lobster (a seafood restaurant chain in the U.S.). To our surprise, Mom called back, wanting to meet a lot earlier than we expected, so Camille told her to come to the restaurant. We thought Mom would rush by the window, in a hurry to meet Camille inside... but NO! As she's passing by, she looks inside, wanting to surprise Camille! Well, low and behold, she looks inside, and sees her daughter and grandson (who are supposedly still in South Africa! She rushed in, and squealed in delight as she reached the table. And of course I got the whole thing on camera!
So that, my friends, is why I could not tell you more in my last entry. It would have given the surprise away!
But there is still one final surprise this week. What could it be? Tune in to find out more!
