Empty Nest?

Our visit with Oma and Opa was brief, but fun. We went shopping in the city of Breda (an hour East of here on the mainland), took Lukas to play at Bambini's, and visited the windmill in Serooskerke (which, incidentally, is only open on weekends in the off-season).

I was also able to attend a coffee morning/book swap, where I (again) met some super-interesting women.

My mother-in-law cooked for two of the three evenings, so we also spent plenty of time around our farm-house table, with good food and good company.

After a few short days, they're already en route back to Germany, and I'm busy brainstorming what Lukas and I can do today, both to stay busy and keep our minds off of seemingly empty house.

Here are some photos of our recent adventures...
