Thanksgiving - Without the Turkey

I was going to tell you what a fantastic day we had, but it just occurred to me that I'm missing the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and there's apparently no way for me to see it from over here. I did find one helpful article on About.Com, providing me with links to webcams, but I quickly realized that the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade isn't quite the same without sound. :-(

It would be nice to see the parade, but it would be even nicer to sit down to a big Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Oh well, I guess that's one of the trade-offs you make when you want to see the world.

But we did have a wonderful day, and I'll write all about it shortly. For now, I'm going to prepare our "Thanksgiving Day Feast", complete with "Apple Cinnamon Upside-Down Cake" from Marthastewart.com.

Hope you're having a great Turkey Day. And why not post a comment - What are you thankful for?

Happy Thanksgiving to the Krafts from the Woodmans. Our turkey was delicious, all the trimmings too! We celebrated our big feast with the Dykstras on Mon. night along with the Monday Night Denver Bronco football game. They are in Phoenix now so Grampa and I are having a most relaxing day. It was 12 degrees when we awoke this a.m. Love you!
