This posting finds us in Germany, soaking up every incredible ray of sun on this incredible weekend. We've had the opportunity to have two cook-outs, one with family and the other with a (German-Brazilian) couple we know from our time in South Africa.
We had a picnic in our big, grassy backyard. We lounged in the sun on our big Balinese daybed, being sung to sleep by the neighborhood's shockingly-vocal local bird residents. We read. We ate breakfast together. It was just like a weekend should be. Our own little piece of
paradise, right here in
Kleinsendelbach, Germany. Who would have thought?
