My taste for adventure has not subsided. This afternoon, the thought suddenly occured to me,
"Why have we not yet had a meal on the beach, even though we're only 10 minutes away from it?" And so, at the last minute, I threw together a meal of orange-glaze chicken and tomato-mozzarella salad, and packed it into a picnic bag. Then we headed out to the end of the driveway to surprise "Papa", demanding (ok, requesting) that he drive us to the nearest beach.
God, is spontaneity fun! :-)
I realize the above picture doesn't show much beach, so below is Lukas' attempt to photograph us (along with his shadow)... and the beach.
