A Traditional Dutch Market

Here's a photo of the weekly market in the ultra-conservative "gereformiert" town of 's Gravenpolder.
I love how this little old woman in traditional dress rode into the picture as I was taking it. She was on a mission to buy some fresh fish (see below photo), and I took Lukas over to the fish stand to show him what people used to wear here in Zeeland. I was tempted to have him pose with her, but I wasn't sure how she would react. In the end, I thought it was best to admire her from a distance. :-)

thats a very small and simpel market!! in het gereformeerde s gravenpolder!! Next time a picture from the market in Goes! thats a better example

Hi Ilonka,
While the Goes market is bigger, there's so much "kitsch" there! Plus, I don't think you'll find little old ladies in traditional dress riding up for their fresh fish. :-)
