My Magnificent Mother's Day in Sluis (NL)

Breakfast was prepared for me with (our own) farm-fresh eggs, we got out to do some exploring, and - later - I took the boys and dog on a bike ride through the Zeeuws sunshine. Could I have possibly asked for a better Mother's Day?

Sipping on a glass of dry, chilled white wine beneath the leafy vine-laced terrace of Sluis' Lindenhoeve Restaurant, I thought not. But I wasn't the only one in my element. Tobi was loving the heat and feeling as though he were in a South African vineyard, Lukas was off playing for hours, and, when Alexander wasn't napping, he was nibbling on leftover Belgian waffles and cream. I guess you could say that it was a perfectly unplanned, spontaneous, Mother's Day adventure... and what's not to love about that?

Hope you enjoyed the photos, and that your day was just as memorable!
