The Brighter Side

In retrospect, even today had it's special moments. Like the farm sunrise, accompanied by the crowing rooster and bleating sheep, and finally punctuated by the neigh of a horse.

Or watching Lukas play with his new little friend, Allanis (sp?) at the incredible indoor playground - Bambini's.

And lying in bed with Lukas at nap time, watching him sleep, and then reading Mandella's Long Walk to Freedom. When was the last time I was able to do that?

So there you have it. Hormones and emotions aside, there are so many things to be thankful for every day.

In fact, I've resolved to write a lot less about yesterdays, focusing instead on today. If only I could tell you what's in store for us tomorrow...
