Jet-Setting Kiwis for Dinner

As it turns out, it didn't take me long to overcome my fear of gale-force winds and hail, driving out to the indoor pool in Goes to meet a mom from Tanzania and her 11-month old baby girl... who was all giggles.

Afterwards Lukas and I headed over to the Agrimarkt Supermarket, to stock up on food. For dinner, we were joined by friends from New Zealand, and we (when I say "we", I mean Tobi) prepared Kabeljou, a nice, firm fish, accompanied by snap peas with goats cheese and roasted potatoes.

Our dinner conversation was of course travel-related, and although we've seen a lot, this couple makes us feel like traveling novices. It's super fun to hear about their never-ending adventures, though!

My friend Floor is visiting us tonight with her boyfriend, Johann, and we haven't seen each other in years, so I'm very excited. She lives just an hour-and-a-half away, but we just got back in contact a couple days ago, so I didn't think I'd see her so soon. What a pleasant surprise. It's like an early 30th birthday present (just a day and a half to go!). :-)
