Belgian Chocolates in the Bush

This email that I just received from a "wildlife & exotics" vet in Guateng (South Africa) painted an exquisite picture of the place that we once called home, and made me long to return. I thought I'd share it with you.

Dear Liz,

Thank you so much for the chocolates. We had them together with my brother over sun downers in the bush after work. [How JEALOUS am I?] It wasn't necessary but thank you very much. We're just glad we could get your camera back to you [don't ask].

Hallo to all.
Best regards,
Brett and Lea

Thank you, Brett and Lea! Without you, our S.A. vacation last November would have ended on a very sad note, with my camera MIA after flying off the roof of our car in the Cape of Good Hope National Park. So many of our precious memories would have been lost! Glad you enjoyed the chocolates, and thanks for sharing your sundowner moment with us. It sounded quite stunning!
