A Scalding-Hot Lunch at the Local 'Fritt Hoek'


I can integrate! And judging by Tobi's love handles, so can he. :-) What is there not to love about french fries drenched in mayo? Thank you to the "Snackbar New City" in Ovezande for what certainly made for an interesting meal. And as for the people that frequent the Fritt Hoek on a Wednesday afternoon (i.e. the regular with the coke-bottle glasses... nursing a Heineken and watching us ever-so-curiously with his enormous magnified eyes) -- they really are in a class of their own. But on one thing we can agree... long live the fritt!!! :)
